Do you ever find yourself conflicted during the holiday season? It’s a time of joy, and you feel despair. It’s a time for gathering, and you feel lonely. It’s a time for merriment, and you are overcome by grief.

All of these emotions are real. They are important.

They also seem to be amplified during the holiday season. Our despair can steal our joy. Loneliness can steal our faith. Grief can steal our happiness. Jesus knows this and has exactly what we need to shepherd us to experience more of him in our despair, grief, and loneliness.
